The Latest Health and Safety Advisory

Sweetwater Group

February 6, 2026 - The Colorado Department of Revenue (DOR), in conjunction with the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE), is issuing a Health and Safety Advisory due to the identification of contaminated Regulated Marijuana Flower produced by Sweetwater Group, LLC, doing business as Sweetwater Cannabis.

The CDPHE and DOR deem it a threat to public health and safety when marijuana is found to have total yeast and mold and Aspergillus above the acceptable limits established in Colorado Marijuana Rule 4-215. This Advisory includes Harvest Batches tested and found to have exceeded acceptable limits established for total yeast and mold, and/or Aspergillus.

Sweetwater Group, LLC, collaborated with the Marijuana Enforcement Division to initiate a voluntary recall for the affected Harvest Batches. The affected product was sold between November 16, 2025, and February 3, 2026, at 31 stores. Read the full advisory for the license and harvest batch numbers, as well as a list of the affected stores.
