MED Health and Safety Advisories

If the MED identifies evidence of contaminants in regulated marijuana or other public health and safety risks to consumers, the MED may issue a Health and Safety Advisory (see below) to warn the public not to consume and to dispose of any contaminated product they may have purchased. 

MED has asked all regulated marijuana stores to print and display this Health & Safety Advisory flyer at the point of sale. It contains a QR code for consumers to sign up for MED's Health and Safety Advisories. In addition, consumers can click the link below to sign up for the advisories.

Checker Six LLC

  
SEPTEMBER 30, 2025 - The Colorado Department of Revenue (DOR), in conjunction with the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE), is issuing a Health and Safety Advisory due to the identification of contaminated Regulated Marijuana Infused Pre-Rolls and Concentrates produced by Checker Six, LLC, doing business as TS Labs Recreational. 

The DOR and CDPHE deem it a threat to public health and safety when marijuana is found to have been manufactured with ingredients that contain pesticidess above the acceptable limits established in Colorado Marijuana Rule 4-215

A voluntary recall was initiated by Checker Six, LLC (DBA: TS Labs Recreational) for the affected Production Batches of Infused Pre-Rolls and Concentrates. The affected product is listed below (by license number and Production Batch) and was sold between August 5, 2025, and September 25, 2025, at approximately 30 stores across the state. Click here to see a comprehensive list of these stores. The MED has not received any reports of adverse health events related to these products to this point.

Consumers who possess this affected product should destroy it or return it to the store from which it was purchased for proper disposal. Individuals who experience adverse health effects after consuming the affected product should seek medical attention immediately and report the event to the MED by submitting an MED Reporting Form
