MED Health and Safety Advisories

If the MED identifies evidence of contaminants in regulated marijuana or other public health and safety risks to consumers, the MED may issue a Health and Safety Advisory (see below) to warn the public not to consume and to dispose of any contaminated product they may have purchased. 

MED has asked all regulated marijuana stores to print and display this Health & Safety Advisory flyer at the point of sale. It contains a QR code for consumers to sign up for MED's Health and Safety Advisories. In addition, consumers can click the link below to sign up for the advisories.

UPDATED: Magic City Farms 1 LLC

  
UPDATED MARCH 21, 2025 - The Colorado Department of Revenue (DOR), in conjunction with the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE), has updated the Feb. 21 Magic City Farms 1 LLC Health and Safety Advisory due to the identification of additional contaminated Medical and Retail Marijuana and Pre-Rolled Marijuana produced by Magic City Farms.

The DOR and CDPHE deem it a threat to public health and safety when marijuana is found to have Total Yeast and Mold and Aspergillus above the acceptable limits established in Colorado Marijuana Rule 4-215. This Advisory includes a Production Batch of Pre-Rolled Marijuana that was tested and found to have exceeded acceptable limits established for Total Yeast and Mold and Aspergillus. In addition, this advisory includes Retail Marijuana Flower (bud/shake/trim) from a Harvest Batch, which was tested and found to have exceeded acceptable limits established for Total Yeast and Mold.
